Voices of Hope for Aphasia’s Executive Director, Debbie Yones, was an invited guest on the Connecting Caregivers radio show. The weekly radio show, with hosts Linda Burhans and Lin Thornly, discusses topics of interest to caregivers. The Connecting Caregiver radio show airs locally in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater/Tampa area and is live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook reaching listeners across the country.

Each week, Linda, who is an advocate for caregivers, invites experts on various topics to provide insight and resources to her listeners. On Nov. 30th, 2019, Sally Marvin of the Sunshine Center in St. Petersburg talked about the services available to seniors at the Sunshine Center. Then Debbie Yones spoke about the prevalence and unique issues facing people with aphasia and their families and caregivers.
