Voices of Hope for Aphasia gets a new home!

March 11, 2020 By Debbie Yones

Last year, we celebrated a “Decade of Hope” marked by the 10 year anniversary of our founder, Mike Caputo’s stroke. In 2020, we launch our “Decade of Growth” with a big celebration: (1) the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of our new offices and (2) new programs offered in Tampa!

Since it’s inception, Voices of Hope for Aphasia has been hosted by various organizations and we have been very grateful for their support. The Sunshine Center in downtown St. Petersburg has hosted our programs and served as our office “headquarters” for over 5 years now. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to our friends at the Sunshine Center, but as our members know, we are bursting at the seams and need more room for our programs!

Starting in April, our St. Petersburg activities will be held at our new offices in Gaslight Square located at 6798 Crosswinds Dr. Suite B-102 in St. Petersburg. The offices are centrally located within Pinellas County and are close to Tyrone Mall and many restaurants.

Our new St. Pete home!

Our official Ribbon Cutting Celebration will be held in May. Stay tuned for details and plan to stop by to help us celebrate.  Meet members, volunteers, staff, Board members, local business owners, and area VIPs.  Have a tasty treat and find out more about aphasia and our programs.
