Voices of Hope for Aphasia announced Andi Van Airsdale has been named Executive Director.
Van Airsdale is a passionate developer of boards and financial support with a strong background in nonprofit management. She has worked with the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and The Salvation Army.
“All of us at Voices of Hope for Aphasia see an opportunity to help the thousands of people afflicted by the aftermath of a stroke gain community and confidence in moving forward in their lives,” said Ken Bado, Board Chair. “We are thrilled to have Andi’s leadership as we grow our programs and strive to empower stroke survivors.”

The organization has strong board support and amazing programs that truly make a difference in quality of life for those affected with communication disorders. I look forward to being a part of the growth as we work together to bring the organization to the next level,” Van Airsdale said.
Prior Executive Director, Jackie Hinckley, PhD., CCC-SLP, will remain on the advising board as ED Emeritus.
