Volunteers Needed…

… to talk, laugh, and live at Voices of Hope for Aphasia!

Tampa Bay’s only community-based aphasia program is seeking volunteer Communication Assistants for its weekly aphasia support programs in St. Petersburg and Dunedin, FL.

Eligible volunteers will be good communication partners for adults with aphasia; any one willing to use supported communication techniques is welcome. Supported communication training is available for eligible applicants.

Volunteers are needed between the hours of 9:30am and 3:00pm weekly on any of the following days: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and occasional Fridays. Click here for more information on days, times, and locations of our Living with Aphasia: Talk, Laugh, Live program.

We are also seeking project-specific volunteers who are willing to share their hobby or special skill in an aphasia-friendly way.
